Advice and downloadable resources for schools sharing FlashAcademy with parents and carers, including how families log in at home and how to encourage regular practice.

FlashAcademy for Families is a parent-facing handout. It explains what FlashAcademy is, how the app supports children who speak another language at home, what the A to E assessment grades mean, why using the home language helps, and how to download the app and log in with a Centre ID, username and password.

Supporting Parents and Carers is a staff guide with quick tips on parent and carer engagement: what to send home, using translated learner letters, printed login cards, recommending 5 to 10 minutes of practice a day, weekly reminders, an example message you can copy, and resources such as the EAL Welcome Pack and EAL holiday challenge.
