How to assign learners specific FlashAcademy lessons or activities as a task - including setting deadlines, choosing recipients, and tracking who's completed it. Use this when setting homework, when scaffolding work for a specific group, or when targeting particular skills with individual learners

The Tasks area in the FlashAcademy Teacher Dashboard allows you to set and track tasks for your students. While students can access FlashAcademy content independently, you can assign tasks for homework or to prepare for intervention sessions.

How to Set Tasks

Step 1: Accessing the Tasks Area

  • Log in to your FlashAcademy Teacher Dashboard.

  • Go to the Tasks tab to set a new task.

Step 2: Setting a Task

  • Click the blue 'Set task' button

  • Choose whether to set a task for:

    • A whole class

    • For individual students

  • Pick a challenge type:

    • Multiple lesson challenge

    • Lesson challenge

    • Games challenge

  • Name the task

  • Choose the target language

  • Assign a deadline

  • Choose who to set the task to

  • Select the content according to the task you have selected

  • Review the task, and click 'Set task'

Any tasks you set will appear on the 'Tasks' tab on your dashboard.
