How to Set an Assessment
Setting up an assessment in the Assessment Zone is a quick and straightforward process. Follow the steps below to assign an assessment to your students.
Step 1: Create a New Assessment
Navigate to the Assessment Zone and select New Assessment.
Choose the appropriate assessment type:
EAL Primary Proficiency Assessment
EAL Secondary Proficiency Assessment
Step 2: Name Your Assessment
Enter a name for the assessment. This could be based on the school term, month, date or another naming convention that makes sense for you and your colleagues.
Step 3: Select Students
Click Next to view a list of students with available licenses.
Select the students you want to assign the assessment to, you can do this by selecting students individually or using the class and phase filters to find relevant students.
You can also use the search function to quickly find specific students.
Step 4: Review and Confirm
Click Next to review the selected assessment type and student list.
Once everything looks correct, click Set Assessment.
A confirmation message will appear, indicating the assessment has been successfully assigned.
